Energizer Night Marathon 2010 to take place next March

Unique run will see thousands of runners take part in several categories ranging from the full marathon to fun relay runs

KUALA LUMPUR December 10 : - Ever wondered what it would be like to run a full marathon, a half marathon or a ten kilometer run in the dark with your personal running space lit up just for you? Then make a date with the upcoming Energizer Night Marathon 2010 scheduled for March 27th 2010 in Cyberjaya. The event is organized by Energizer, the maker of the world’s longest battery in high tech devices, with key partners adidas and Schick.

This event which has already made a global mark with night races held in South Korea, Argentina and South Africa since 2007, is now set to excite and inspire Malaysians to take up the challenge.

Energizer Malaysia brand manager Joshua Leong said Energizer have successfully organized night runs all around the world and now Malaysians, especially avid runners can enjoy a different sensory experience running en masse with thousands of other runners after sundown.

"Running in the dark is something not many people, including experienced runners, have done. Most runs in Malaysia are always held in the early mornings, so we are looking forward to a great impactful event."
