Why Have Your Office In High-Rise Buildings?

These days, most of us have adapted to the norm of working from home. So it comes as no surprise that people, especially fresh graduates prefer working from home compared to working in the office. However, as one who has worked both in an office and from home, I personally prefer the office. There’s just a certain charm about working in the office, compared to working from home. Especially since I work in a creative industry, the office just gets my innovative energy pumping, unlike now when I’m at home, everything seems dull and boring and I’m easily distracted.

I’ve always liked my office in the high-rise building that it’s in compared to it being on lower floors. And let me tell you, there’s a massive difference. For those of you who don’t know, it could possibly be the reason why you prefer working from home. So today, let me try to convince you why offices in high-rise buildings are better. But before that, check out office buildings near KLCC

More Natural Light

To start off, offices in high-rise buildings always have better natural lighting. And when compared to artificial lighting, natural lighting is much better as well as healthier. This is because natural lighting can help kill the germs and keep your office space cleaner, making the place more hygienic. Certain offices also have windows that let in the morning light that can give you your daily vitamin D, which is an added bonus.

Ventilation and Fresh Air

Another benefit is having cleaner and fresher air to breathe in. Unlike offices in lower floors that let in air that contain carbon monoxide emissions from cars, the air higher above the ground is much cleaner and healthier to breathe in. breathing in the fresh air can also keep you feeling more active and less sluggish throughout the long hours you are in the office. High-rise buildings also provide better ventilation, since the air contains less oxygen the higher-up you are. Hence, the ventilation systems are generally better compared to that of those in offices in lower buildings.

Less Noise & Congestion

Moving on, another benefit you can reap from working in offices located in high-rise buildings is that there is less noise and congestion that you have to deal with. Let me explain, when you’re higher-up above the ground where there are roads and trains going, you can avoid listening to annoying sounds like those that can be very distracting. Especially if you are one who requires much quiet to be the most productive at work.

Safety & Security

The last benefit you can reap from this is that most, if not all high-rise buildings provide security. Almost all high-rise buildings have security guards and require keycards issued by your company to enter the office. With the upgraded security we have now, you can expect that your keycard will be needed to enter the building, to use the elevator as well as enter the floor and room to your office. You can rest assured, or in this case work without having worries about getting attacked at work.
